Often in StockHaven's chat room members are interested in setting up scanners that produce results. There are many benefits to having a scanner set up properly. It can help you find promotions, find stocks that are trending, and the list can go on and on of the benefits a properly, set up scanner can give you!

We have great videos from StockHaven himself and Cam where they take you through step, by step on how they have their scanners set up. Wouldn't it be great if you could easily get those settings onto your own Etrade scanner without adding the settings in one at a time?

The purpose of this section on the forum is for members to share their scanners that they found to work for them. Members can post their scanner's URL to instantly share their settings with other members. You can also ask for help in setting up a scanner by giving your URL and asking for other Stock-haven members to help in tweaking your scanner settings so that it is ideally set up to fit your needs!

Below you will find a quick guide on how to easily share your scanners URL and import other members URL code:

Open up your scanner and click the settings button on the upper, right hand corner and select "Change Strategy"

Next, click on the share icon in the upper right hand corner which will open a new window containg your scanners URL address

Click the "Copy" button to copy the URL code to your clip board. You can then post it in the forum to share with others!

To paste someone else s URL code into your own scanner, simply follow the step above on how to enter the scanners settings. Once you have done that click the "Import Strategy" button towards the bottom. A new window will pop up, simply past the code in there and hit the "View" button and you are good to go!
